How many times have you said, “If only I had more time I’d ____”? If you’re like me, it could be a million times. What’s in that blank for you? Get a pedicure, start a non-profit foundation, go back to school, start a new business, read a book, get in touch with a friend, volunteer in the community, start a gratitude journal, find my purpose, go to the gym, eat healthier, take a course…. the list goes on and on.
Time is my nemesis. I’m often in a battle with it and more times than not, running out of it. I soothe myself by thinking……there’s lots more I would do/could do/should do if I had more of it. Recently I came across a quote in Life’s Little Instruction Book which was perfect since I’m currently streamlining my time. It made time STOP. Here it is….
“Don’t say you don’t have enough time. You have exactly the same number of hours per day that were given to Helen Keller, Michelangelo, Mother Teresa, Leonardo da Vinci, Thomas Jefferson and Albert Einstein.”
What???!! Surely they had more time than me!
The quote made an impression. I made a sign and tacked it up on the wall of my office, where I see it every day – all day!
reACTION [to change in the response to stimulus]: Day 6 – More Time
If the quote resonated with you….post it in a place where you’re sure see it. Give it a month and let me know what you discover.
“Time is a created thing. To say – I don’t have time- is like saying – I don’t want to.”

Thanks Cheryl, I’ll be posting that quote! I couldn’t count the number of times I’ve said “I don’t have enough time”. It’s amazing when I look at my day, just how much time I WASTE!!
