Happy New Year (day 4)….You’re positive and excited thinking of the possibilities.
2019 is going to be great!
So far so good…right?
How to sustain is the challenge for all of us
One way to keep that positiveness and momentum going year round is to have small daily rituals that support who you want to be, what you want and where you want to go.
Yesterday we looked at journaling for 2 distinctly different purposes.
As a way to purge negative thoughts and emotions and to tap inner wisdom.
There’s another way….
Another way journaling can have a powerful effect is to use it as a catalyst for reflection and to open the door to soul searching.
Reflect and Soul Search
In this kind of journaling you ask yourself a specific question.
The intention is see the wisdom gained or to help look deep beneath surface layers for guidance and clarity.
Here’s a few to try
You become a true master of your life when you learn to master where your attention goes. Value what you give your energy to. Focus on what matters to you. Where attention goes, energy flows. Where energy flows, thing s grow.
Who would you be and what else would you see if you removed the thought that’s been worrying you?
Get up. Make the call. Apply for the job. Start the book. Book the trip. Sign up for the class. Don’t be afraid of rejection, struggle or failing. In fact, you know that failing is necessary on the road to success so bring it on! Live, learn and grow through every risk you take towards growth, expansion and fulfillment.
What’s one small risk you believe is worth taking in 2019. What’s the first step?
You’re not the same person you were a year ago or even a month ago. You’re always growing. Life can be very difficult at times but when you look back you can be truly grateful for all those tough experiences. They show how far you’ve come.
What’s one lesson you’re grateful life taught you in the last year?
We all know nothing big happens overnight. True progress takes time. Don’t give up when you can’t see results. It can take months and sometimes even years to actually see results. As long as it feeds your spirit and feels right …. keep going keep believing.
What’s something big you achieved in the past that you once thought impossible?
With age and maturity you realize that beauty has almost nothing to do with ‘looks’ it’s who you are as a human being, how you make others feel and most importantly how you feel about yourself. That’s what truly matters.
What makes your partner (or someone you love) beautiful on the inside? What makes you beautiful on the inside?
When you think you’ve reached the end of the road that’s really the starting line. What do you need to know? Be humble Be teachable. There is always more to give. You have a purpose that no one else on this earth can fulfill. How will you do it?
What does a new beginning mean to you?
