Creating a shift so we can uncover Who we are and create What’s Next requires energy. This is no time to be tired! The best way to energize is to Move. Even a 10 min walk can make a big difference. When we move our bodies we experience renewed energy not to mention those fabulous endorphins, producing feelings of well being and exhilaration.
Physical activity also helps us shift gears and clear our thinking. I’m always surprised by the great ideas that seem to come out of nowhere during physical activity. I never have a pen. Reminder to self – take one!
reACTION [to change in the response to stimulus]: Day 8 – MOVE
The hardest part of getting going is pressing START. Once activated we conclude, “this wasn’t so hard….it felt good.” After the first time, pressing START is easy!
Go for a walk, go to the gym, sign up for a class, hire a personal trainer…move!
To lock in new behaviour repeat for 30 days.

This is so true Cheryl, the hardest part is always getting started. And with physical activity, we wonder why we waited so long as we feel so much better for just getting started.
I try to remember to keep and pen and paper with me when I walk to the beach, it’s amazing the ideas that come when we’re in nature.
