They inspire hope and excitement.
They tell us that anything is possible and remind us to dream big.
Take time to reflect
Even if you are dusting your hands and oh-so-happy to be saying good bye to 2018 it’s important to pause and reflect.
Take the time to look back at 2018 think of the strength you’ve gained and appreciate how far you’ve come. You may have been through a lot in the past year, but you’ve grown a lot too. Give yourself credit for your resilience and then step forward with grace.

That’s different for all of us.

Daily for the next 30 days when you open your inbox you’ll find a strategy or thought to facilitate the next step forward. I’ve collected these over the last few years and have used them myself, in workshops and with coaching clients with great success so I hope you’ll like them too.
They will all be simple and offered in bite sized pieces.

Daily ritual
A daily ritual is a practice you regard as special, an activity not to be taken lightly, that you prioritize and set apart from the rest of your routine It’s something you willingly surrender yourself to, not allowing yourself to reject the parts of it you dislike, but instead pushing forward and committing to the full experience for a short time every day. And, of course, the best part is that the small bits of progress you make each day add up to something big, and ultimately change the course of your life.

Challenge what you know
Step out of your comfort zone
Warren Buffet once said, “What the human being is best at doing is interpreting all new information so that their prior conclusions remain intact.” Don’t do this to yourself. Don’t just look for data or support that confirms what already know. Be willing to be wrong in 2019. Be willing to learn in 2019. Be mindful, humble and teachable every step of the way. There’s always room for a new idea or perspective. Find ways to provide a healthy challenge to your current understanding of life and you will discover and experience far more of life’s magic than you thought possible.
Action
Every day is an opportunity to challenge yourself and to step beyond what you know and out of your comfort zone.
So… here goes…..take a deep breath.
Know that not only will everything be ok but you are going to be filled with new vitality and energy.
