Today marks the end of the 30 Day Adventure. Did you feel a shift?
They come in varying degrees whisper, nudge, blast or full throttle, all will dislodge from a ‘stuck’ place. A shift gets things going, moving and active and catapults the shift-ee to new territory. It takes many forms…..heightened awareness, renewed hope, increased clarity, fresh excitement or the beginnings of a plan.
The red shoes caused a tsunami sized shift in me. They thrust me out of a comfort zone into the unknown. They brought insight, experiences and opportunities that I could have never imagined. I was reminded that real living begins at the end of our comfort zones. This is where we learn and grow and open ourselves to the lessons and surprises that are all around waiting to be had.
The whole experience got me thinking how I restricted my thinking for no good reason other than that’s the way I’d always thought. I continued doing things a certain way because that’s the way I’d always done them and….. surprise…I was stuck. No wonder, I was trying to craft Part II of my life and forge new paths using the same old information…..same old beliefs…same old…same old……to do it. Oooooohhh I get it……no wonder it wasn’t working!!
It was a big A-HA! Not bad for a pair of shoes. So I jumped into ACTion…..the Red Shoe Zone is part of that so is the fearless (re)discovery of me. I love 30 day plans (the length of time we humans needed to imprint a new behaviour) I’ve always got one on the go!
For this 30 Day Adventure I shared a potpourri of themes and ideas to give you lots to think about and explore. I hope something along the way connected.
I love this journey. The path is winding, always changing and utterly fascinating…sometimes growth is slow and incremental and other times swift and accelerated. I can see the fearless me emerging…I like her. I am so excited about Part II and what I am becoming, what I will be able to do and the new level at which that I will be able to contribute and serve.

Here’s how…..Choose theme(s) and create new 30 day board.
Do something everyday that supports the chosen theme. Record on post it note–attach to board.
For example:
If you choose disarming Fear by taking ACTion (Day 24) as a chosen theme…identify fears/make a list of actions that can be taken by the end of the day /take one ACTion by the end of each day/record ACTion on board/continue for 30 days
Gratitude (Day 26) -Begin each day by recording 3 (or more) things you are grateful for each day/post on board
Comfort zone/courage (Day 24) – do something every day that a) challenges a comfort zone b) makes you uncomfortable c) scares you — record on board.
Move/Elixir (Day 10/Day23)– every day enjoy a green drink – get active go for a walk visit the gym, take a class – record all activity on board.
Identify the Lesson (Day 21) in every day—record daily on board
