Maya Angelou you will be missed.
The poet laureate, famed writer, actress, civil rights activist and educator passed away this morning.
This amazing, phenomenal woman is probably best remembered for her words. She provided the world with some of its’ best pieces of advice. She inspired…encouraged…advised. Her words resonated with everyone, transcending age and gender.
Her departure reminds us that everything is temporary and nothing lasts forever. If we want to live a beautiful, joyful, and loving life we have to do it today…right now.
There was only one Maya Angelou.
There is only one of each of us.
We all have the opportunity to create a legacy that makes the world a better place because we lived.
That was Maya Angelou’s greatest gift.
